Adam Smith is a commercial, television drama, documentary, music video, visual artist, and feature film director.
 
For over 30-years Adam has worked extensively with The Chemical Brothers, directing seminal music videos, designing the surreal and visionary video elements of their live shows, and directing the acclaimed concert film ‘Don’t Think’. 
 
In 2024, Adam’s groundbreaking visuals reached iconic cultural venues worldwide, including the Vegas Sphere, Royal Albert Hall, and the V&A, with his work being praised by Forbes as “a spectacular audiovisual experience”. 
 
Adam’s documentaries include an early portrait of the Grime music scene ‘Wot Do U Call It? for Channel 4, and ‘Ghetto on Sea’ following a pirate radio station for BBC Three. His commercial work includes campaigns for Nike, Adidas, and Jaguar – for which his branded short starring Damien Lewis premiered at Sundance.
