Declan Whitebloom is a director renowned for his pop sensibilities having crafted vibrant, stylish videos for the likes of Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Rita Ora, Jess Glynne, Cheryl, and One Direction.
Declan’s elder brother was one of the seminal music video and commercial directors of his day and Declan spent his formative years on set absorbing the process. He then honed his craft as an editor on hundreds of award-winning music videos and commercials, before stepping into directing award-winning commercials, music videos, and documentaries.
Currently, Declan is scheduled to shoot a his first feature in the spring, his short film ‘Blackbird’ is on the festival circuit, and he has written a scripted TV show that’s in development in the states. He has not learnt the piano or improved his French during lockdown but has learnt to make a very nice Coq Au Vin.
