Dexter Demme is a writer, director, and producer based in Los Angeles, California.
From his early teens, Dexter experimented with both photography and film, exploring how to bring ideas to life and tell stories through imagery. Growing up in a creative household surrounded by painters and photographers, he developed a distinct artistic sensibility and deep understanding of visual storytelling from an early age.
He has directed four short films and worked across a wide range of narrative and music video projects, always approaching each with a strong creative vision and collaborative spirit. His most recent short film, Tug of War, starring Gina Gershon and Kirk Baltz, premiered on Directors Notes and is currently making its way through the festival circuit.
Dexter is now in development on his first feature-length film, as well as collaborating with a studio on an upcoming feature-length animated adult comedy.
