Born in Thailand and raised between Paris and The US, Philip Andelman has dedicated much of his career convincing others of the magical, healing power of the Grateful Dead. On his downtime he has has directed over a hundred fifty music videos and commercials for clients including Billie Eilish, Beyonce, Travis Scott, Taylor Swift, Samsung, Target, and Adidas. His first short film, The Big Break, a comedy about an office shooting starring Mandy Moore, was in competition at Clermont-Ferrand, Los Angeles, London, and San Francisco Film Festivals.
Philip is currently developing his first scripted television series with Republic Records, along with a documentary film at Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment.
